Wonderful image. Terribly sad story.

I only can tell you this: even if Canada's social welfare system is bad, it could be worse, like here in Mexico. There are around 40 million people living in poverty or worse...

And as you travel South, you will meet worse places. The world's economy doesn't work to diminsh poverty; on contrary, it increments it.

I agree with you. In Indonesia, the number of people living on the streets just keep increasing every day, while some of the richest just keep getting wealthier.

Thank you for sharing the condition in Mexico. I hope people like us will be able to make changes. Someday, somehow.
